What began as random gatherings of über fans meeting up in Dude-like terry bathrobe, waffle bathrobe and jellies to bowl has officially hit big. Lebowski Fest, a two-night party dedicated to all things The Big Lebowski, has gone national, with events in eight cities. The Denver edition features a screening of the Coen Brothers comedy at the Ogden Theatre on Sept. 8, preceded by a set from dirty blues duo Black Diamond Heavies and the Pin Heads, who are, well, guys dressed up like giant bowling pins. (That's probably a fetish for somebody.) The next night, Lebowski fanatics can roll a few down at Bowl-ero in Lakewood where there’ll be trivia, costumes, bowling, and, of course, White Russians. (Careful, there's a beverage here!)
